Windsurf Improvers
This season the Youth and Adult Windsurf Improvers will run concurrently and will use a shared booking link to maximise flexibility with instructor numbers.
Windsurf Adult improvers
These sessions, run from 1.30pm – 4.30pm (Please arrive by 1.00pm), use on the water coaching and support and are aimed at those graduating from beginner sessions. If you are aiming to improve things like using a harness, footstraps, planing and waterstarting then this is the one for you. Tuition at these training sessions is free to members. However, we ask for a voluntary contribution of £10 per person per session at time of booking towards the cost of fuel for the safety boats and upkeep of training boats and equipment. For adult improvers you are encouraged to use your own kit but if you need to use club kit we also ask for an additional £5. Please bear in mind that none of the coordinators, instructors or helpers receive any financial return for their voluntary efforts. Please also note that these training sessions are for members only.
Windsurf Youth Improvers
These sessions will run from 1.30pm – 4.30pm (please arrive by 1.00pm). They are aimed at those young people who have previously attended beginners sessions and who are working through the RYA Youth Stages and want to develop further. Tuition at these training sessions is free to members. However, we ask for a voluntary contribution of £10 per person per session at time of booking towards the cost of fuel for the safety boats and upkeep of training boats and equipment. Please bear in mind that none of the coordinators, instructors or helpers receive any financial return for their voluntary efforts. Please also note that these training sessions are for members only.
