We would very much like to build on the success of our Junior Sail and Race Club sessions last year. We have for the time being essentially moved these to certain Saturday afternoons and will be running them as improver training sessions.  More info in the section below.

We were trying to plan some further Sunday morning sessions which would take the form of a novice training race with close supervision and short courses for those sailors who could competently sail a triangle and all points of sail.  Unfortunately we are not sure we can move forward with this idea without more volunteers (especially parents) coming forward to offer to help.  Please let Clive know if you can help and in what capacity.

The club is delighted to be hosting the RYA North Zone Championships this year on the 26-27th September.  Great opportunity for our improving juniors to race against the best sailors in the North.  It is a big event for the RYA and the potential start of an Olympic career in sailing.
