Where do you start after such a fantastic event 27 entrants with 15 classes of boats were greeted with force 5 winds from the north east.
Neil Spink and his team set a great course over the full length of the reservoir and 1st off the mark and around the windward mark was Keith & Siobhan Escritt (29er). This was the case for the following races as well but hot on their heels was Neil Ferguson (Contender) with some awsome beats and a direct line to the leeward mark with so much wind, it was fast. Chris Pickles & Laura Westell (RS200) had a great day with good reliable results to finish 3rd o/a. 2nd went to Keith and Siobhan. But with 3 wins, the clear winner was Neil Ferguson; he was very happy at the prize giving and looking forward to the Grimwith Grapple on the 21st June and hoping for more of the same.
